I originally ordered this for my 2 year old that is 28lbs. It was way too big for her and I didn’t feel comfortable with her wearing it so I gave it to her 4 year old sister. Her sister is about 10-12 lbs heavier and it fits her much better. I’d aim for 40lbs when ordering, not for smaller kids/toddlers

Very cute swim floatie for my 2 yr old learning to like water. I feel it could be adjusted a little bit more for a snug fit. But maybe my 2 yr old is slender and tall. Overall it’s very well made and looks dependable.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the straps easily loosen on the legs. Otherwise it works great. I love that it has the leg strap!

This is cute and my daughter loves it. However the straps don’t stay tight and slip when on and secured. I was able to tie them. and make it work. my daughter is 22 pounds so on the small side and despite this saying it goes down to her weight it is still on the big side.
Over all it is a great floaty It put my daughter in a good swimming position and she loves having some independence in the water.

For us it is a great toy for enjoying the water getting comfortable in the water & being ‘independent’ in the water (adult always in arms reach but don’t always have to touch)

It fits well, and is adjustable. My toddler is 32lbs. I’m impressed that it not super loose or awkward. We haven’t used it swimming yet. But I’m sure it will work great based on the fit. It’s just as described.

Bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter. We had been using a traditional life jacket and she would tip over, unable to stay up straight in water thus disliking swimming. Once she had this on in the water, she was like a fish, swimming all over! She was able to float on her back or stomach comfortably and was able to play. I love the fact that it has the strap that goes underneath because life jackets are just awful to use because of coming up so high under her neck.

Got her this and she is able to swim by herself (we are near by obviously). It’s honestly taught her how to move around and use her arms/legs. It’s comfortable for her. I will say if your child isn’t super balanced or doesn’ know how to keep themselves upright, this may not be the right fit for them. It does take a little practice and effort for them to maneuver around without flipping.

Personally, this scared me when I tried it on my 2 year old (23lbs) because it looked like she was being pushed to float due to so much padding. Later we realized, my daughter just didn’t want to put her feet down. Once she got used to it she wasn’t letting her body float and it was fine. The arm pieces are loose on her though which isn’t a huge deal but it does bother me.

I had tried it 3 other different types of life jackets and this was by far our favorite! She never complained about wearing. Easy to put on, adjustable to make it fit perfect. Very comfortable to wear and easy to move around it.
